Okay, so here's the thing about monster PNR... There seems to be a shift happening wherein we're moving from photomanipulation to illustrated covers. I love illustrated covers. They're gorgeous. But photomanipulation still has a significant place, but it's clear that readers are up for more than just straight manchest. Now, this cover, in particular, is not on-genre in the traditional sense, but I really wanted a fierce, warrior orc vibe. There is a companion object based cover just in case. A creative author might use them in tandem. 
 
TLDR: This cover is somewhat atypical of genre norms for monster PNR. I would recommend it for either an established author looking to try something a little different, or someone willing to try something more experimental.
